For EU-based advice, Atlas Bridge Wealth operates under the regulatory umbrella of NFS Europe Ltd (MiFID II / IDD licence 328/17 – CySEC).


For UK clients, advice is provided via appointed-representative arrangements with FCA-regulated partners.

3. How We Process Your Data

We process data fairly, lawfully, and transparently by:

  • Collecting only what is necessary for advice and compliance (KYC / AML).

  • Keeping information accurate and up to date.

  • Storing it securely using encrypted, EU-hosted systems (HubSpot EU / Google Workspace).

  • Destroying or anonymising it once retention periods expire.

  • Restricting access to authorised personnel only.

 
4. Why We Use Your Data

We use your Personal and Sensitive Data to:

  1. Provide financial-planning, investment, and insurance-based advice.

  2. Prepare suitability reports and implement agreed recommendations.

  3. Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (AML, MiFID II, IDD).

  4. Maintain ongoing contact and service updates.

5. Lawful Basis for Processing

Under Article 6 GDPR, processing is lawful where:

  • You have given consent, e.g. to receive newsletters or event invitations; or

  • Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (our client agreement).

For limited Sensitive Data (Article 9 GDPR):

  • We rely on your explicit consent (for example, health information relevant to life-assurance advice); or

  • Processing is necessary for legal claims, compliance, or professional indemnity obligations.

 
6. Sharing Your Data

We treat all client data as confidential. It may be shared only with:

  • Our regulatory partners (FSN / NFS Network Ltd).

  • Product providers, investment platforms, and custodians used in your plan.

  • Third-party service providers for data hosting, IT, or administration (all EU-compliant).

  • Legal, tax, or audit professionals assisting with your case.

  • Law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.

 

We never sell or rent client data to any third party.

 
7. Data Retention

We keep records for at least seven years after our relationship ends (or longer where required under MiFID II / IDD).
After expiry, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

 
8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data.

  • Ask us to correct or erase data that is inaccurate or no longer necessary.

  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

  • Request data portability to another adviser or controller.

  • Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances.

  • Lodge a complaint with the national data authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) – www.cnpd.pt

10. Cybercrime Warning

Be vigilant regarding fraudulent emails or messages claiming to be from Atlas Bridge Wealth requesting payment details or personal information.

 

We will never send bank account details or request money by email.
