Who We Help
Atlas Bridge Wealth is best suited to clients who want a long-term private client relationship, not a one-off transaction.

We work with UK families moving to or living in Portugal where there is enough complexity, enough at stake and enough need for careful coordination to justify a proper planning process.

You are a resident of Portugal
You are Portugal-based (or are planning a move to Portugal from the UK), and want to make sure your pensions, investments, residency timing, and wider financial decisions are aligned before you act.

You have significant wealth to protect
You typically have investable assets of £250,000 - £500,000 or more across pensions, investments, property, business assets, or a combination of these, and understand that joined-up planning matters.

Clarity & Confidence
You value clarity and confidence over speed, and want to understand the consequences of decisions before they become difficult or expensive to unwind.
You are also looking for a trusted, long-term adviser, not a one-off transaction.
How we charge
Simple & Clear
You should always know exactly what you’re paying, and why. No small print. No surprises.
No Conflicts of Interest
We are transparent about how we are paid. We do not operate on hidden commissions, undisclosed incentives or product-led sales.
Fees Matter
Every Euro in fees is a Euro that can’t grow for your future. Small differences today compound into huge differences over time.
All-in Support. always
Our ongoing fee covers everything: meetings, reviews, calls, coaching – as much as you need. We don’t charge by the hour, because we never want you to hesitate to reach out.
No Barriers
We don’t charge high upfront fees just to get started. No ‘toll booths’. No blockers. Just great access to life-changing advice.
Best In Class
We aim to provide you with the very best service available, always.
Our Planning Fees
At Atlas Bridge Wealth, our fees are designed to reflect the level of work, expertise and responsibility involved in delivering high-quality cross-border financial planning.
For UK nationals moving to or living in Portugal, good advice is rarely about one isolated decision. Pensions, investments, tax residency, property, income planning, succession and long-term retirement objectives often need to be considered together.
Our planning work is therefore priced according to complexity, not simply by the number of accounts or investments involved.
Option 1: Our standard Strategy Report
€2,500 + IVA
This is designed for more straightforward cases where you need a clear, focused plan. It may be suitable if you have a specific planning question or a relatively simple set of assets, and you want professional guidance on the best way forward.

This may include:
-
Review of your current position
-
Identification of key planning issues
-
Written strategy paper
-
Financial planning recommendations
-
Cashflow overview, where required
-

Clear next steps
This option is best suited to clients who need clarity and direction, but do not require a full technical cross-border planning report.

Option 2: Full Cross-Border Planning Report
From €3,500 to €5,000 + IVA
This is designed for more complex cases where several areas of planning need to be considered together.

It may be suitable if your position involves UK pensions, investment restructuring, Portuguese tax residency, NHR/IFICI considerations, UK property, retirement income planning, estate planning, business interests, or assets held across more than one jurisdiction.
This may include:
-
Full review of your financial position
-
Cross-border planning analysis
-
Pension and investment structure review
-
Retirement income planning
-
Cashflow modelling
-
Review of tax-efficiency considerations
-
Coordination with tax, legal or accountancy specialists where required
-
Written recommendation report
-
Practical implementation plan
-
Clear sequencing of next steps
This option is intended for clients who need a detailed, joined-up plan before making important financial decisions.

Option 3: Private Client Planning Engagement
€5,000 + IVA
This is designed for higher-value, more complex or ongoing advisory relationships where a deeper level of planning, coordination and strategic oversight is required.

It may be suitable where there are significant pensions, investments, property assets, business interests, inheritance planning considerations, family wealth issues, or multiple professional advisers involved.
This may include:
-
Comprehensive review of your financial position
-
Detailed cross-border planning report
-
Cashflow modelling and scenario analysis
-
Pension, investment and income strategy
-
Coordination with tax, legal, accountancy and other specialist advisers
-
Implementation planning
-
Ongoing strategic guidance during the advice process
-
Private client-style support throughout the planning engagement
Where appropriate, all of this planning fee will be offset against agreed implementation or onboarding fees if you proceed as an ongoing client.

Why We Charge for Planning
Our planning reports are not generic summaries or administrative documents.

They are the result of detailed analysis, professional judgement and years of experience across financial planning, pensions, investments and cross-border client situations.
The value of the work is not simply in the report itself, but in helping you avoid poor decisions, understand your options, and make informed choices before taking action.

For many clients, the most valuable part of the process is not being told what product to use. It is understanding what decisions need to be made, in what order, and what the consequences may be if they are handled incorrectly.

Initial Advice and Implementation Fees
Where a client proceeds to implementation, our typical initial advice fee is 1% of the amount invested or arranged.

This fee reflects the work involved in reviewing your position, confirming suitability, preparing recommendations, arranging implementation, liaising with providers, and ensuring the advice is completed properly.
The exact fee may be higher or lower depending on the complexity of the case, the level of work required, the structures involved, and the amount being invested or arranged.

All fees are discussed and agreed fully with you in advance, before any implementation work begins.

We do not believe in hidden charges or unclear fee arrangements. Our aim is to make the cost of advice transparent, proportionate and aligned with the work being carried out.

Every client’s circumstances are, of course, quite different. We’ll confirm your exact fee before we begin, based on the scope and complexity of the planning. In practice, the fee we quote may be lower than the maximum shown above, depending on the amount invested, the complexity of the work, and whether a fixed fee is more appropriate.

Final thoughts
We do not believe in hidden commissions, unexplained charges, or product-led recommendations.
Atlas Bridge Wealth works hard behind the scenes to provide a clear, transparent, fee-based planning service, and we actively campaign locally for greater transparency across the international advice market. Our aim is simple: you should understand exactly what you are paying, what you are receiving in return, and whether the advice represents value before you commit.
